Brompton Road

Project description:  Six One Bedroom Apartments, Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, opposite Harrods.

Externally:

This conversion of an existing office building into six 1 bedroom units above St. Paul’s Patisserie on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge involved some very skilful placement, as the space was very tight. Part refurbishment, part new build, all of the existing floor plate was used; the communal areas and access were kept to a minimum and a whole new block was constructed at the rear. The rear two storey extension, with curved roof, allowed us to maximise the floor area at the same time as providing maximum daylight into the courtyard and surrounding building.
